Vintage Hairstyling

All classes are one-on-one, ​with Pro Stylist, Jessi B.

Each hairstyle, depending on  skill level can last 2.5+ hours PER hairstyle. Students can learn as many hairstyles possible in one class.

A 50% non refundable deposit will be collected to hold the class date and the remaining 50% will be collected the day prior to the scheduled class. Each student will learn tools, products, and technique and all students are welcome to use a live model or a mannequin head. You may choose any vintage hairstyle(s) from any time period. Any style is doable regardless of hair length or texture.

Class Styles:

One on One Zoom Session: $95/hr (tools and products not included)

One on One In Person Session $125/hr + travel (tools and products not included)

If you are located outside of the greater Southern California area, travel fees plus room and board accommodations will be expected and may incur higher class prices. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a pro hairstylist?
-No, you do not need to be a pro stylist to take this course. You do, however, need to know how to part hair and use a curling iron (if you choose to learn with heat)

What will I learn?
-You can choose any hairstyle you would like to learn. You can also choose to learn the old way of styling from a specific time period (example: wet set, marcel tools, rollers, teasing, etc.) or you can choose to learn a modern method (curling irons, extensions, hidden secrets). It's great to learn both methods but we suggest learning the style that best suits you or your clients. 

What tools and products will I need for the class?
-You will be sent a shopping list of tools and products prior to the class. Most items can be found online or at your local beauty supply. You must complete your tools/product shopping prior to your class date. I can also provide you with your products and tools for an additional cost.

How long is the class?
-Each hairstyle will require at LEAST 2.5 hours PER hairstyle. This all depends on the hairstyle, hair length, and your skill level.

How can I achieve a certificate?
-You must book and learn 3 - 5 hairstyles for a styling certificate. 

What dates are available for my private class?
-We will work the scheduling out based on availability. You can book up to a minimum of 1 week out - 1 month out in advance with your 50% deposit.
